It's time to send out an SOS...(Save Our Sanity!) Today's teachers and therapists are buried under mounds of paperwork, evaluations, curriculum contraints and demands, and now an every-changing array of new and exciting technologies. This workshop is designed with one thing in mind -- how to save your time and effort through the use of technology. We'll demonstrate a variety of time-saving technology tips designed to help with teacher and student tasks. We'll cover a wide variety of programs available for the Macintosh and Windows platforms with special emphasis on Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, OmniGraffle and Adobe Acrobat as well as a variety of tools for managing, enhancing, and using digital images and sounds, and ways to computerize typical paper and pencil tasks.
Time Requirement: Full day presentation.
Workshop & Inservice Rates (effective 7/1/05):
$1500 a day plus travel expenses
Travel expenses include: coach airfare, hotel, food (actual or per diem), transport to and from airports, and actual cost of shipping demo tools to and from the presentation site.
Extra fees apply to and vary with materials needed or requested for workshops including specialty handouts, CDs, custom made kits, etc.
